About The To Do Method

The Origin Story

It all started with a simple observation: the productivity industry is a multi-billion-dollar machine built on making simple things complicated.

Think about it. Thousands of books. Hundreds of apps. Dozens of methodologies, each with their own certifications, consultants, and conferences. Entire careers built on teaching people how to... do things.

But what if — and stay with us here — what if doing things was already simple? What if the answer wasn't a $2,000 workshop or a 47-step framework? What if the answer was just... a list?

The To Do Method was born from the radical idea that people already know how to get things done. They just need to write it down and then do it. That's it. No certification required.

Our Mission

To save the world from unnecessary complexity, one list at a time.

We believe that:

Our Inspiration

The To Do Method draws inspiration from a timeless piece of wisdom: if you want to get out of debt, stop buying stuff you can't afford. If you want to be productive, stop overcomplicating it and just do the things.

Sometimes the most profound truths are the most obvious ones. The ones that make you go, "well, duh." That "duh" moment? That's The To Do Method.

What We're Not

Let's be clear about what The To Do Method is NOT:

Frequently Asked Questions About Us

Q: Are you serious?
A: Partially. The humor is intentional. The method is real. Lists genuinely work. The rest is just fun.
Q: Do you actually offer consultations?
A: 1-800-ASK-ANDY. Call it. See what happens.
Q: Can I contribute to The To Do Method?
A: The method has 3 steps. There's really not much to add. But if you have a great testimonial, we'd love to hear it.
Q: Is the confetti on the home page really necessary?
A: Yes. Confetti is always necessary. Always!!

The Team

The To Do Method was created by people who were tired of overcomplicating things. We've collectively spent too many years in standups, sprint plannings, and retrospectives to talk about how the last sprint planning could have been shorter. We snapped. The To Do Method is the result.

We don't have titles. Titles are for people who need titles. We just have a list, and we do the things on it.

Disclaimer: The To Do Method is presented with humor and love. We genuinely believe in the power of simplicity and lists. But if you have serious productivity challenges or struggle with executive function, please seek professional guidance. We're a comedy website with a good point, not a substitute for professional help.
